Updates- CBL, Video Reflection, Tapping Out With Tiles, MOY Data
I enjoyed being in each of your design days this week. I am amazed at how far we have come in our CBL journey. It was empowering to see each house design their next CBL! I would love to be apart of your challenges, so please invite me in to be apart of any guiding activity, solution, etc. Thank you to all those that have filled out the survey to help me help you with whatever you are wanting support in! If you haven't, please fill it out here.
As Megan, Layne, and I were preparing our CBL presentation for the tours next week, we came across the updated CBL handbook. It is a great refresher on CBL. Take a look at it here! If you are new to CBL and want more clarification, please book me to support you in transitioning traditional teaching to CBL teaching. :)
Thank you SO much Shari Merrit, for allowing me to video your lesson with your learners last week. Designers, this is a POWERFUL tool for self reflection on our teaching. If you rather me not video, we can borrow a "Swivel Camera" from another campus, that hooks up to you (so the camera moves when you move) and videos you without anyone being in your space. Please book me if you are interested in this!
Next week, I am going to be trained on Tapping out With Tiles and will record a lesson and send it out to primary designers. This is an area of growth for some of our learners, so if you are interested in learning more about it I will be hosting a FEDEX on February 15th on it. Stay Tuned! :)
Just a friendly reminder, MOY assessment window closes on January 31st. At our next staff meeting, I will be going over how to use this data in AWARE to drive our instruction.
As always, please let me know if you need anything!! Enjoy your weekend.
