Math, Robotics, Apps, and more!
Thank you all for letting me show you your grade level's MOY data and create purposeful SMART goals! If you want a refresher on how to filter your own class' or student"s MOY data, let me know and I'd be happy to stop by and show you! It is incredible to see our learners' growth so far- just proof that we have PHENOMENAL, hard working, designers that grow every learner by every need.
This week I had the privilege of attending 3-5 Math's Academy. I learned LOTS and have already started brainstorming other ways you can use these apps and robotics for all grade's instruction! Our day focused on learning how to integrate apps, robotics, and math all together. I would love to share what I learned with you all and re do some of the challenges we did with you. Here are my notes. Also, this is the access code: T2V3N-BBDWT for the Schoology course we used. It houses all the challenges and reflections for our day.
They may be confusing just reading them, so please, please book a time with me so I can share exactly how YOU can integrate this into YOUR space! We have all the robotics!! It was super engaging as adults, so I can only imagine how our learners would respond to it!
We also got to dig deeper into learning about the Baiboard 3 app, and feel confident you all would love to use it in your space. The app looks like this:
BaiBoard is a collaboration app that enables learners (from all over the world) to create and collaborate on educational content, through the use of collaborative whiteboard, voice conferencing, document annotation etc. So, multiple iPad users working on the same white board.
You can import documents through Google Drive, too! (Can cut out a lot of the paper we are using! :) ) This is great for our 1:1 classes, because all iPads can be working on the same "whiteboard", and the designer has access to all them. Book me to learn more about this, and how you can integrate this into your daily instruction!
