Increasing the Rigor in the Classroom

Good Morning!

I wanted to share a few resources that focus on increasing the rigor in our daily instruction. Sometimes it can slip our mind to reflect on the rigor of our instruction, I would love to come in and just focus on where the rigor is in your space. Or if would like to observe a classroom that exhibits deeper thinking/rigorous instruction- let me know and I will happily coordinate a visit! The best learning is from each other! The graphic below just gives a quick overview of the key elements of creating a rigorous environment.

This was a training from last year that was on increasing rigor. Slides 105-106 have a bunch of ideas on how to incorporate rigorous activities in your day. Let me know if I can come explore one of these activities with you. Or if you would like to go through this at your team time- that would be a great time to discuss with your grade level or house!
